Slovenia, a country in Central Europe, is known for its mountains, ski resorts, and lakes. In Lake Bled, a glacial lake fed by thermal springs, there is an island belonging to the town of Bled with a church, and there is a medieval castle on the lakeshore. In the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, Baroque facades coexist with the architecture of the city's 20th-century architect Jože Plečnik, whose emblematic Tromostovje (Three Bridges) spans the winding Ljubljanica River. ― Google
