DXCO Internet site - The source for comprehensive information and resources.
11mtr Band - IOTA, SWL (Shortwave Listening) and HAM Radio.
We are "DX Communication Operators"
Whether you are an experienced radio operator or are just diving into the fascinating world of radio operations, our website offers you valuable insights, practical tips, and guidance to expand your skills and deepen your knowledge.
We try to cover a wide range of topics including SWL (shortwave listening), QSL- cards, competition information about various radio bands, and much more.
Our goal is to offer active radio operators and interested parties an informative platform that serves to promote understanding of radio in general, facilitate the exchange of knowledge, and share the joy of radio operations.
Regardless of whether you want to research technical details, find out about practical applications, or simply be inspired, DCO is your companion on your journey through the exciting world of radio.
Nevertheless, we are obliged to mention the following:
Immerse yourself in the diverse world of wireless communication and find out everything about different radio technologies, operating modes, antenna concepts, and much more.
Science & Space
Weather
Space Weather impacts radio communication in several ways.
At frequencies in the 1 to 30 mega Hertz range (known as “High Frequency” or HF radio), changes in ionospheric density and structure modify the transmission path and even block the transmission of HF radio signals completely.

Hello dear friends,
To register on this website and with the DXCO group and to facilitate our administration, we only ask you to provide your current callsign, name, country, and city.
Our callsign is made up of the following components: For example
Country Prefix (18) - Group (DCO) - Unit number (01) - Citycode (TH=Thessaloniki).
If your QTH is dangerous for your ID, send us a message.

HAM vs. 11mtr. ?
Why do HAM/AFU radio operators “always” think they are better and special than CB radio operators? This arrogance and discriminatory attitude towards radio operators in the 11-meter band must stop. But? Where is the problem?
I think we are the problem. We often behave on the 11 m band as if we were the last whistle and we bow our heads at everything. That's exactly where the problem lies.
The question is: Do we allow it to continue? or will we become strong together?... Only you know the answer!
Disrespect from AFU or HAM, i.e. amateur radio operators who “still” believe that they are something better and think they have to be better than radio operators who do not have a license will NOT BE TOLERATED! Amateur radio operators may think they have more knowledge or tradition, but that is a misconception because times have changed. We want to promote radio in general, especially by holding radio contests, field days, and mountain and marine radio activities as well as supporting citizens and authorities in establishing communication connections in disaster cases, both personally and through licensing is possible.
Amateur radio operators are NOT GODS. DCOs who are not licensed should cooperate and not be against each other. We do not disturb the Radio Amateur Operators and they should not disturb us. We are all the same! Only, we transmit on different frequencies. You, the amateur radio, should never forget this!
